We've added some great gigs to our tourdates!

If you fancy a day at the races, why not come and see us at Lingfield Park Racecourse on the 21st June. We return to Warwickshire on the 5th July to headline the last night of Shipston Proms - this is a new event for us and we feel very honoured to be chosen to headline the whole festivals proceedings.

July also sees us returning to Wales for our first show at the Globe in Cardiff, before our hop over the water for the Tribute Party festival in the Netherlands and our double header event at De Plesj Rockt in Belgium, not forgetting our first European gig of the year at The Mill In The Park in the Netherlands on June 29th!

Our return visit to The Roadhouse in Birmingham is on October 17th - we had a great night there last time and we look forward to see you all there again. Then it's our Bonfire night show in Redditch on the 1st November before our return to The Range, Wolverhampton on the 29th November.

We still have more gigs which are awaiting confirmation, so we will keep you updated as soon as they are confirmed, and we are still looking forward to an exciting year with the release of the next U2 album and some new material to explore along the road. A huge heartfelt thanks to everyone who supports us all over the world, we couldn't keep doing our dream job if it wasn't for you guys, one things for sure, it's not going to be any 'ordinary' year. Love and Peace to all - U2UK

2013 round-up
2013 saw some great gigs at home and abroad, from headlining the rock and bowl festival in market drayton, to playing the beautiful Buttonpop Festival in the grounds of the world famous Kasteel Keukenhof in Randstad and having our interpretation of the great U2's music played across the Amsterdam airwaves. We flew out to portugal twice in as many months to play The Fringe Festival on the beautful Pico island in the Azores to a huge crowd of festival goers.. and an even huger volcano!.. and then onto the Annual Seafood Festival in Olhao, The Algarve, to a mini U2 stadium show complete with a huge LED video wall playing our graphics.

There was the Conkers 10 years anniversary party where we marked the decade of live music at Conkers with Nigel Atkins and his band Rockaholics, and we travelled up to Cumbria for the Lazonby Live Festival and Simon had to do some quick pedal programming due to what we will only describe as 'technical difficulties'... :P

So 2013 saw us play some old favourite songs and venues, play some new countries and meet new friends.. we can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for us and we look forward to seeing you on the road!

A look back at a great gig...

Ten Year Anniversary

It was ten years ago almost to the day when Paul Collyer put an advert in the local newspapers to form a U2 Tribute band. We originally played local pubs and clubs as U2 Pop for a year. We were advised by a friend to change the name as 'Pop' didn't represent us well as a band. She thought the name U2UK would have more impact so we changed it. We've been U2UK ever since. Through the years we have been lucky to have had great people along the way that have played the parts of various members of U2 and have enabled us to continue doing what we love for more than a decade. This year has seen us re-united with Paul after his three year break from touring. Those of you who remember him as the front man of U2UK will remember his unique ability to win over an audience without even standing on a stage. We're back with the four core members, Paul, Simon, Ady and Nathan, and the show has taken a new direction as we have developed a set this year which allows us to play all the U2 greats and a selection of some of the songs we have always wanted to play but which do not appear together in many of the major tours... It's a year for us, a year to regroup, enjoy, and to remember all the great reasons why we love what we do and why we are privileged to say that our supporters love it to. Lets look forward to the next decade, to seeing old friends and new coming together to celebrate the magic and the brilliance of U2 and their music....
